Jennifer Van Buskirk is the Regional President of AT&T Mobility’s Northeast Region. In this role, Van Buskirk is charged with driving sales growth and overseeing operations for AT&T’s mobility and entertainment businesses across fourteen states and the District of Columbia. With more than 8,000 employees and 3,700 points of distribution – including company owned retail stores, national and authorized retailers – the Northeast is among AT&T’s most important territories. Previously, Van Buskirk was President of Cricket Wireless, a subsidiary of AT&T. She is credited with building AT&T’s premium pre-paid wireless business from the ground up, including launching Aio Wireless and managing the integration and brand transition of Cricket after AT&T’s acquisition of Leap Wireless in 2014. Jennifer has held many roles throughout her 14-year tenure at AT&T Mobility and its predecessor companies. Prior to running Cricket, she was Senior Vice President of AT&T Mobility Strategy, where she was responsible for shaping long term plans and priorities to preserve value and create new growth opportunities. She also served as Vice President and General Manager of AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets for North, Central and West Florida. Jennifer was recently inducted into the 2015 Womenetics POW! Hall of Fame and was named one of the 2015 Influential Women in Wireless by Fierce Wireless, one of the “Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology” by the National Diversity Council, and as one of the DiversityMBA “Top 100 Under 50”. She also received a Bronze Stevie Award for Women in Business for Female Executive of the Year in 2013. Jennifer serves on the Board of Yellow Pages Holdings, LLC. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Kennesaw State University. She is in the process of relocating to New Jersey with her husband of 19 years and their two children.
