Jacqueline Neilson enjoyed a highly successful, 35 year career at Merck & Co., Inc. In her last role as an active employee, she was the Vice President and General Manager of Merck’s HIV Franchise from, where she led all global commercialization activities for the Franchise. She is currently building a Coaching Practice focused on female Executives navigating transitions in their lives.
Jackie is a seasoned business leader, with a strong track record of leading teams, strategy development, effective implementation, and innovation. She has held a variety of senior management roles including: Vice President and General Manager, Women’s Health Franchise, Vice President of US Primary Care Commercial Operations, Vice President – Strategy & Commercial Model Innovation, Vice President Customer Strategies and Solutions, and Executive Director, Medicare/Medicaid Customer Segment.
Jackie joined Merck in 1981 as a chemist in Merck Research Laboratories. After roles in Basic Chemistry and Clinical Research, she moved into International Marketing in 1987 as a product manager for the ophthalmology franchise. She then progressed through a range of commercial roles in corporate licensing, managed markets, and several sales leadership positions. Throughout her career, Jackie has received numerous awards and recognition for her broad leadership capabilities.
Jackie received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Barry University, and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Rutgers University Graduate School of Management.
