In her 18+ years of experience with TCS, Saswati has held severalleadership roles across different functions ranging from large scaleoperations, Strategic Planning to IT Services and innovation. She has hadan accomplished career in business development, sales, pre-sales,consulting and global delivery. She has also been involved in drivingdiverse business functions including marketing strategy, business processmanagement, strategic alliance management and organizationaldevelopment.

Saswati Collam joined TCS in 1998. She started her career in FinancialServices Group (FSG) of TCS as a team member and rapidly graduated totake up account management of large scale relationships such as such asGE Corporate and GE Asset Management. As a Six Sigma Black Belt, shethen changed tracks from global delivery to IT consulting and headed theSix Sigma Consulting practice for North America to establish that arm as apart of Global Consulting practice for TCS.

In her current role, Saswati is heading the Evangelize function whichincludes business development, presales and go-to-market strategy forTCS CTO Office for US & Canada. In this capacity, she acts as thegeography link for all innovation related initiatives originating in thesegeographies to the 19+ worldwide innovation labs and COIN partners.

An avid runner, IEEE member, part time editor for a local magazine andan active member of the International Speaking Club – ToastmastersInternational, speaks of her varied interests. She is a CompetentToastmaster.

Saswati is based out of Charlotte, NCSaswati Collam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering fromJadavpur University, Kolkata, India.
